Dynasty Buys
Its important to note that market dictates the value. In some leagues specific players and even whole positions can be valued much higher or lower. Its crucial that you take into account your league mates values, trends, league chat reactions, and take all interactions into account before deciding what your own values are. Everyone should have a price and if you value them significantly it should be higher then consensus. Public opinion is made up of people just like you and I, THINK FOR YOURSELF and make decisions you are comfortable with wither its "winning" or "losing" the trade only time will tell. Here are our thoughts on some key players
Robert Woods
The Los Angels Rams number one wide receiver lacks the respect he deserves in dynasty circles. Coming off of a wr 13 finish in ppr leagues compilling another 129 targets his lowest in 3 seasons Woods is a player that lacks the luster but has all of the substance. Entering his age 28 season but signed through 2024 a strong track record for low end wr one numbers, a solid floor that is often imitated rarely replicated, and a narrative that the Rams will lean on the run more makes Robert Woods a steal entering 2021.
CeeDee Lamb
Over shadowed by Justin Jefferson's historic rookie campaign CeeDee Lamb is quietly undervalued. Simply put he is available when he shouldn't be. Week 5s injury to Dak Prescott lead to a dip in value that makes acquiring Lamb, although expensive, well worth it. Through week 5 CeeDee was WR 11 in PPR leagues, he finished WR 22 with Andy Dalton and Ben DiNucci under center... Go Get Lamb
Clyde Edwards-Helaire
Shooting up draft boards in dynasty and redraft alike after being selected 32nd overall by the Kansas City Chiefs, Clyde mostly disappointed fantasy owners. RB 13 through week 13 he had a solid rookie season, proving he can run between the tackles and earning the goal line work. The disappointment really stems from the lack of expected receiving work. Instead of getting 50 plus receptions he received 54 targets through13 games. This simply makes Edwards-Helaire available for a very affordable price considering he's tied to Patrick Mahomes through his rookie season and has the faith of the coaching staff Clyde is a buy entering 2021
Allen Robinson
Much like Robert Woods, Allen Robinson is perennially undervalued. Playing with Blake Bortles, Mitch Trubisky, and Nick Foles for his career Robinson has still put up 3 top ten finishes at the WR position in PPR leagues in the last 6 season, two back to back entering 2021. As a free agent if Allen decides to leave Chicago his production shouldn't suffer and if he lands in an ideal landing spot his value jumps over night.. paired with Watson in Houston feels to good to be true... Will Fuller who?
Michael Thomas
It isn't often that a WR that had historic production scoring 417.1 PPR points the year prior, and is healthy entering the offseason, would be considered available but the imminent retirement of Drew Brees will send a ripple through the dynasty community that will put doubt in the heart of many MT managers. All MT has done his whole career is get open and catch the ball with finishes of WR 7,5,6,1 in PPR leagues prior to this injury riddled season. This dip is exactly the kind of thing we look for as a staff in buying candidates. Those league winning studs that you can afford to not only put you over the top, but slam the door on the opponent.
